Mindivator & Stress Busting
Mental health is an essential part of wellbeing. Not enough attention is paid to help reduce stress and manage mental wellness. ONS Office of National Statistics states how significant the impact of COVID_19 is having on our mental wellness and we need to ensure we are supporting each other better around mental health.
Most people do not even recognise or consider they are stressed or have stress in their life. Let us help you understand it better as we take you back to being a caveman (or woman) and explain why stress occurs and what we can do when stress becomes too much.
Mindivator affectionately named by iCareiMove, is our mental wellness course that supports stress management and mental wellness through mindfulness and meditation.
iCareiMove will educate and take you on a journey (we love a journey) of your hormones and what goes on in the grey matter. This helps you understand how closely linked stress is with physical health. High and Low mental wellbeing can be addressed with Mindivator and other tools to help those to be happy and functioning.
This enlightening topic then moves on to methods to reduce stress including:-
- Progressive Relaxation
- Diaphragmatic Breathing
- Counting Techniques
- Goal Settings
Tree Hugging is a small part of the plan
Apologies to those who actually hug trees, but it is not all about “tree hugging”. Stress Management is a far wider subject and links to holistic health.
iCareiMove will reinforce balance of the body, the mind and encourage a wellness lifestyle. Holistic health covers nutrition, movement, sleep and hydration as integral components to living well.
