Finally! We were so excited to be presenting at the Dementia Care & Nursing Expo but sadly a pandemic stopped us and the world changed. What we know is that more people want our services more than ever. So we are back and running demos and talking about our favourite subject: how to support staff and their people they care for using movement and music magic.
15th-16th September Birmingham NEC
Road trips are so much fun. Having presented at many events over the years, we find it better to show you what we do, rather than tell you. Which is why we have booked demonstrations and talks about how we are making an impact on people’s quality of life.
Show and Tell, Smile & Reflect
Even our beloved NHS Physio’s worry that we will be dressed in lycra (ummm, no way) and doing aerobics like the Specsavers advert with our 90 year olds. What we do is nothing like that, although sometimes it feels energised and exciting.
What we do is wrapped around movement and can be done to music. (We don’t do war time music!). We use the funky stuff like Tom Jones, a bit of Elvis, some rock’n’roll and Moon River is always a favourite. What we know is that reminiscence is in all sorts of music and our method transports our people and their carers to a different time. That is our magic. This is why we love to demonstrate the joy in our service and remind ourselves of the fun we all have when music, movement and laughter is combined.
Come & Play with us!
Meet the team. We are mega looking forward to be around you once more. Let us talk you about the science bit. We have done all the “sciencey stuff,” so that your teams can focus on having engagement and being truly centred around the people we love to care for. We will talk about case studies and how we have evolved. Let us show you how we prevent and reduce falls. We will talk about our funded programs for Long Covid and Neurological conditions. We want to help you and your teams feel confident in movement. The great news is that our work compliments your staff and they feel more positive too. It’s a win – win.
See you at the Show, we’re on stand C84.
